Sewing books

There's something you might not know about me..... I love books. Fiction, non fiction, you name it. Since I discovered The Book Depository with their free delivery policy worldwide I'm in big trouble. I wanna have soooo many books, you better not know how long my wish list is.
Today I received brand new book The Bag Making Bible by Lisa Lam. For those of you who never heard about Lisa, you should check out her blog. She has plenty of tutorials and how tos. I already downloaded one of her free bag purse pattern, but never came round to making it. Someday....

My other sewing books are Making Handbags: retro, chic, luxurious by Ellen Goldstein - Lynch, Sarah Mullins and Nicole Malone.

Designer Home Sewing by Linda Lee

I'm not at all a pattern girl.... I don't use sewing patterns at all. Maybe this new book will change my mind. Now I'd love to buy a really good patchwork or quilting book. There are so many, to many, I don't know where to start. Unfortunally there are almost none in our biggest book store, so I have to buy from the internet. Any suggestions? Must be a book for begginers. Like a cook book for someone who never saw a kitchen before.
