Looking for new home
Some of my stuff, for sale
I just love to create and make new bags, combine different materials, try new forms so in the past years I have made lots of stuff, not because I would need so many bags, but because sewing relaxes me (as well as gardening and reading). Now all these are looking for new home, where they can be admired and used.
Smaller ones can be used for keeping credit cards or storing coins, bigger ones for whatever you like.

Even the best designers now and then borrow an idea. I like to look at sewmamasew blog. It is mostly about sewing clothes, but in August there was a blog post and tutorials about lunch bags that I liked and made a few bags - not necessarily for carrying lunch.
This was one of the easiest things to sew so I made another one.....
.... and another one...
..... and another

Onina manifestacija v pravo smer
In Slovenia there are about 40.000 children who are in risk of poverty. That is a lot if you think there is only 2 million inhabitants in Slovenia. Therefore Slovenian daily newpaper Delo launced a charity action called Create for children.
In May 2010 I saw an application for making a shopping bag kind towards enviroment. It was a charity thing, because all bag would be sold and money given to children and their familes who lost their jobs in Koroška region.
"I can make a shopping bag". So I thought long and hard and evenually made a bag and sent it.
In June the 22nd I found that among 194 bags the jury introduced 20 finalist and my was among them! Boy, was I happy. It is made out of cotton and it can be used on both sides. On one side there are trees and on the other there are stripes. I choose trees because Slovenia has a lot of trees, trees are very important for the Word and we should tresaure them. I choose stripes because I like them and they are fashionable this year.
The first photo is borrowed from HERE the other two are mine.
On 8th on September the winners were annouced and no, I did not win, but I am happy anyway. My bag was sold almost instantly. I hope it will serve the new owner well.
Since it was a charity thing I bought my self a bag as well. Here it is:
To bad I do not know the creator of this bag.
More info:
You can look at this LINK to se the final 20 bags and HERE to see the rest of the bags. And on this LINK you can find photos of event (on the 6th photo a mistery girl is buying my bag :)) and a video where my bag can be seen (between 3:34 and 3:40) in a hand of a model.
Thank you all who voted for me and my friends for all your support. It means a lot to me.

About me
As long as I can remember I loved to sew. When I was a little girl, for my dolls. When I was a teenager I usually bought some material and asked my mother to sew something for me. She had an old sewing mashine she bought hersef when she got married (btw I still use that mashine ;)). My mom eventually got tired of me asking her to sew for me, so she sent me into sewing lessions. So I started sewing. I remember one navy blue trousers mix of cotton and linen. I had a bit of leftover material and a small handbag I bought in a small shop. I thought "I can make such a handbag". So I did. That was years ago, I still have that bag somewhere.
Next time I made myself a long skirt where there were plenty of matreial left, so I also made a bag to "go along". For some time I made clothes and bags from the same material. I do not make clothes no more, but still love to make bags. I have had friends asking me to sew for them, then their friends and so one. I have always had plenty of compliments about my bags.
As years went by I made a lot more than just handbags. I make little bag for credit cards or coins, I make bags for mobile phones, I make toilet bags, plenty of shopping bags and a lots more. I also made slippers for my friend and a collar with a matching leash for my bitch, but that is another story.....
