Impressions from ARTish

It was a hot wekend and especially Saturday when ARTish - local Art Fair was held. Temperatures were up to 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Farenheit)! But other than that it was great! Wonderful people, amazing atmosphere.

I am thankfull to my friend Tanja and my mum for jumping in and looking after my stall for a bit so I could walk around other stalls, chat to other artists and take photos.

Here are some photos from other gifted Slovenian artists. Amazingly beautiful stuff!

ARTish

Hi. How was your week? As you know I was in Valencia and I'll tell you all about it a bit later, first I have to tell you about ARTish.

ARTish is a lot more than just another Fair. ARTish is a place where people can rest their eyes on beautiful pieces made by Slovenian artists and is a place for a chat, a place to share ideas and used clothes and learn something new in lots of creativity workshops.

I'm very very happy to be a part of next ARTish which will take place tomorrow in Ljubljana's Gornji trg between 9 AM and 8 PM. More HERE and HERE

I hope to see you tomorrow! Have a great wekend! It's going to be hot in Ljubljana.

Art fair in park Tabor

This blog post is an invitation for all my lovely readers.
On 31th of May there will be an Art fair in Tabor park from 2 PM until 6 PM. If you have time and will be in Ljubljana, please stop by and say hi. The more the merrier :)

I'll be there with plenty of my bags. On my stall there will be:
20 shoping bags (a few are brand new, I made them past weekend)

17 different keychains

45 different coin and make up bags

8 mini frame purses (some brand new, I finnished them this morning)

Other size frame purses, cell and iPhone bags. Unfortunately I won't be selling any handbags or shoulder bags - simply because there won't be enough place on the stall.

I hope I'll see you on Thursday afternoon, if not, have a great week!

Impressions

Yesterday was a fair in Piran. Lot's of handmade stuff, crafts, ceramics and antiques. A good friend of mine joined me, so I had the time to look at all the lovely stuff. Here are some impressions.
First my stall.

And the lovely neighbours

All the rest.

If I had the place, this lovely old writing desk would come home with me.

As well as this old sewing machine.

I had a great time. Met a lot of friendly people. The weather was fantastic. What can I say - it was a great day. Thank you Mojca so much for keeping me company! And a great thank you to Zdenka for lending me your stand for my bags!

Fair in Piran

For the second time. Last month I didn't go due to bad weather, but this Saturday I'll be there. It will me my first market this year. Can't wait. I hope all goes well. I know it's going to be hot (35 deegres Celsius) and no shadow (must bring big umbrella), but the sea is near and I just love the smell of the sea.

This is where it's going to be held. In roud square surronded by old buildings and of course the sea.

Corrie from Retromummy is going to a market this Saturdas as well, but on the other side of the planet - Australia. She wrote her tips for those of us starting fresh
My top market stall tips

Thank you Corrie, this is just what I needed.

Fair in Piran

I'm acting like a farm girl, looking at the weather reports every half an hour. Will it rain on Saturday or not? I have good reason to be concerned. I'm not going to put away hay or anything like that, although when I was a child I did help every year at my grandma's farm, but that's another story.
There's an Fair this Saturday in small costal town called Piran and I'd very much like to go. The Fair is held at Tartini square (named after Giuseppe Tartini, born in Piran in 1692).

Although I love this city and would like to visit it, I'd love to meed new people, chat a bit, maybe sell a few things, I wouldn't like to get wet as well as getting my bags all wet. The weather report doesn't look at all promising - cold and rainy, maybe even storms.

So come on people, send some good vibrations to this part of the world, I need some sun or at least not the rain! In a meanwhile I'll show something I made in one afternoon. I could be a lunch bag, but

instead I use it as a shoes bag.

I'm not really into high heels I can't wear them all day long, so at my work I usually change into something more comfortable.
