A little bit of everything

I woke up into rainy Saturday morning, so I decided to stay at home. Thanx againg for sending all your good thoughts. I did a bit of cleaning, washing, ironing, reading  and most of all sewing!

I finally finished this custom ordered thing I was telling you about. It's purpose is going to be for storing cosmetic. Something like that:

Then I played with small bits of fabric and this turned out - first atempt wasn't to good

second atempt was better, because I learnd on my mistakes. That's how I always learn. 

And then I have to show you some before and after.

Such a small diference - just a few felted balls, but such a great outcome.

So, what were you doing this weekend? 

Custom made in progress....

I like sewing chalenges and this is something I've never done before. It's still in progress 'cous I'm out of bag bottom - have to order it. Can you guess what it'll be? Let me give you a hint: It's round (OK, you can see that) but it's not going to be a handbag.

Thank you for all your help on my first quilt (previous post). For now I'll leave quilting and go back to what I'm good at. Making bags. This one is custim made for a dear friend of mine and is still in process. Just a quick peek.

It was fun yesterday. A little bit of girl talk, little bit of sewing and a lot of cuddling my Irish Setter Flora which she didn't mind at all. Anyone else interested in custom made bag? You'll have to come to me and cuddle Flora while I sew. 

A very special bag for a very special girl

Luna is a teenage girl whom I send red giveaway bag, but unfortunaly the bag was somehow lost in space. Grrrr, was I disappointed and angry!

I promised Luna to make her a new bag. She prefered cold colours, so I made this stripped bag dominated by green and blue. The material in from Ka international and was bought in Studio Domicil. Needless to say, this was also a give away bag, I like making people happy ;) I hope Luna will like her new bag.
